The State of Substance Use: 2025

The Center for Drug Control Policy intends to publish its State of Substance Use: 2025 report in early 2026. Modeled after the annual reports of organizations outside of the drug policy field, this flagship report will summarize trends in drug use, drug-related morbidity, drug-related mortality, prevention, treatment, harm reduction, and supply reduction. This will become an annual report of the Center for Drug Control Policy, helping to position the organization as the preeminent source for data about the drug crisis.
